The actor-comedian will be joining the Kapuso magazine program.
On Thursday, August 8, GTV’s top-rating magazine show ‘iJuander’ revealed the new co-host that will join original host Susan Enriquez in the long-running program.
He is none other than actor-comedian Empoy Marquez, who will join the show starting Sunday, August 11.
“Handa na akong samahan ka [Susan Enriquez] na hanapin ang mga kasagutan,” Marquez said in the teaser video released by GMA Public Affairs.
Empoy takes over from Kapuso newsman Mark Salazar in helping Susan find answers to various questions of Filipinos.
‘iJuander’ was launched as one of the original programs of GMA News TV in 2011, and for eight years was hosted by Susan Enriquez with Cesar Apolinario, who passed away in 2019.
After which, Susan was joined by Mark in the show.
In 2021, ‘iJuander’ became one of the holdover programs of GNTV that were included in the line-up of shows for GTV, where it continues to air up to this day.
‘iJuander’ airs every Sunday at 8:00 pm, after ‘Farm To Table’ on GTV.
