The soloist will be staging the concert later this year.

In a poster released on Friday, August 2, music label Tarsier Records revealed that original Filipino music (OPM) singer Maki will be holding his self-titled first solo concert.

The said event will happen at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on November 29, 2024, with additional details to be disclosed in due course.

Maki went viral on social media in 2023, thanks to his Filipino or English translations of popular Korean pop songs like NewJeans’ ‘Ditto’ and ‘Super Shy,’ and IVE’s ‘After Like.’

He then went on to release his original song ‘Saan?’, which was later followed by ‘Bakit?’ and ‘Kailan?’.

Last May 2024, Maki dropped the viral song ‘Dilaw,’ where he featured Bini member Maloi Ricalde in the music video for the song.

Through the song, he became the first OPM artist to make it to the top of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart when it was launched in July 2024.

At present, Maki also has 6.7 million monthly listeners on the music streaming platform Spotify.
