The fifth generation K-pop group is in Manila!
Korean boy group RIIZE is in the Philippines for the staging of their first fan-concert in the country titled ‘Riizing Day,’ which is part of their ongoing tour.
They will hold the said event on July 14, 2024 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and will be carried out by six members of the group, namely Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton.
Seunghan, who has been on hiatus since November 2023, will not be participating in their first Manila fan-con.
RIIZE was first revealed to the public in August 2023 and made their official debut as a seven-member team on September 4, 2023 with their debut single, the viral sensation ‘Get A Guitar.’
Prior to which, they dropped the pre-debut single titled ‘Memories,’ which was unveiled weeks before their official debut song, and a performance of ‘Siren’ — which was released as a full track earlier this year.
They have also dropped more singles in the following months, such as ‘Talk Saxy,’ ‘Love 119,’ ‘Impossible,’ and ‘Boom Boom Bass,’ which are all part of their extended play ‘Riizing’ that was released last June 2024.
Within a few months, RIIZE has also gained recognition from various Korean award-giving bodies.
They bagged the Rookie of the Year from the Seoul Music Awards 2023 and Melon Awards 2023, among other accolades they currently have.
