On Monday, July 8, Highzium Studio, the agency managing South Korean actor Song Joong Ki, confirmed the news regarding his family.
The ‘Reborn Rich’ star is expecting his second child with Katy Louise Saunders, a year after the birth of their son.
“Actor Song Joong Ki is becoming a father of two,” Highzium Studio said in its statement as translated by Korean news portal Soompi.
Song and Saunders were first reported to be dating in 2022, which was later confirmed in January 2023 — along with the news of their marriage and first pregnancy.
In June 2023, the couple welcomed their firstborn.
Song Joong Ki is known for his portrayals in Korean drama serials like ‘Innocent Man,’ ‘Descendants of the Sun,’ ‘Arthdal Chronicles,’ ‘Vincenzo,’ and ‘Reborn Rich.’
Meanwhile, Katy Louise Saunders also works as an actress and model in Europe, and had starred in films like ‘The Lizzie McGuire Movie,’ ‘The Borgia,’ and ‘Third Person,’ as per her IMDb profile.
