On 06/30/2023 or June 30, 2023, 630 kHz on Mega Manila’s AM radio band officially went back on air after four years as DWPM Radyo 630.
The new station was born out of the joint venture business arrangement between Prime Media Holdings, Inc. and ABS-CBN Corporation, which used to independently operate the frequency as DZMM from 1986 until its shutdown in 2020.
On its first day, the station had minimal programming, while featuring majority of personalities from then-DZMM and Teleradyo.
Eventually, in July, it launched with more original shows on weekdays and the weekends, as well.
Within months after its launch, DWPM Radyo 630 was able to place in the Top 10 radio stations in the region, according to a listenership survey.
