“Maharani, maaari bang mapagbigyan?”
Male P-pop group Alamat are reaching new heights.
Firstly, their song ‘Maharani’ has been streamed more than 10 million times on music streaming platform Spotify.
“10 million na tayo Maharani,” the caption of their post on their official page read.
They also thanked Magiliws and all casual listeners for playing the song: “Salamat sa pakikinig, keep streaming ‘Maharani’ on Spotify,” Alamat wrote.
Through that, they made it to the Viral 50 charts of Spotify — where they are currently sitting at #46 — and have since gotten 700,000 monthly listeners on the platform.
These new records come days after the music video for their other song, ‘Day and Night,’ reached 1 million views on video-sharing site YouTube.
Alamat is scheduled to release a collaboration with OPM band The Juans titled ‘Gupit’ on Friday, June 14.
The P-pop group, which originally debuted in 2020, is composed of six members, namely Tomas, R-ji, Taneo, Alas, Mo, and Jao.
They are known for their singles like ‘kbye,’ ‘kasmala,’ ‘Aswang,’ ‘Maharani,’ ‘Gayuma,’ ‘Day and Night,’ and ‘Dagundong,’ among others.
Last March, they dropped the music video for the single ‘Dayang,’ which is part of their extended play ‘Isapuso.’
