The local government units (LGUs) in the following cities, municipalities, or provinces have canceled face-to-face classes on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
Learning facilities will continue to deliver their services through other methods, such as teleconferencing and/or asynchronous classes, except for Cabanatuan City — which canceled all class activities due to a power interruption.

- Malabon City (no-face-to-face classes in PUBLIC SCHOOLS)
- Pasay City (no face-to-face classes in ALL LEVELS, public and private) until May 24, 2024
- REGION I (ILOCOS REGION)
- Binmaley, Pangasinan (no afternoon face-to-face classes from PRESCHOOL TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, public and private) until May 28, 2024
- Umingan, Pangasinan (no afternoon face-to-face classes for PRESCHOOL TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, public) until May 31, 2024
- REGION III (CENTRAL LUZON)
- Cabanatuan City (no classes in ALL LEVELS, public and private)
- REGION VI (WESTERN VISAYAS)
- Iloilo City (no face-to-face classes for ALL LEVELS, public and private) until May 23, 2024
- Schools with air-conditioned classrooms have the discretion whether to hold face-to-face classes.
Meanwhile, by virtue of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s Proclamation Number 534, s. 2024, May 23 has been decalred a special non-working day in Calaca, Batangas.
