The series is back on local TV and will be aired by more platforms.
On Friday, May 17, ABS-CBN began airing plugs for the upcoming rerun of 2020 mega-hit Thai boys love (BL) drama ‘2gether The Series.’
This time around, the Filipino-dubbed version of the series that starred Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin will finally be making its way to free-to-air television starting Monday, May 27.
According to the media giant, the series will be aired on two free TV channels, A2Z and TV5, on top of its broadcast on the Kapamilya Channel on pay television.
Its rebroadcast will mark the first time that a Thai BL series will be aired on terrestrial television channels in the Philippines.
However, ‘2gether The Series’ and its sequel ‘Still 2gether’ have already created history during its original Philippine TV run back in 2020.
When these programs aired on Kapamilya Channel and streaming platform iWantTFC, they were the first two Thai BL serials to be shown in any local TV channel in the country.
Since then, other Filipino-dubbed Thai BL series like ‘Bad Buddy,’ ‘Dark Blue Kiss,’ ‘A Tale of Thousand Stars,’ ‘Enchanté,’ among others, have been available only on iWantTFC.
‘2gether The Series’ returns to Philippine television on Monday, May 27 at 10:15 pm on A2Z, TV5, and Kapamilya Channel.
