The “Soap Opera Queen” has welcomed everyone back to her kitchen.

The “Soap Opera Queen” has welcomed everyone back to her kitchen.

On Wednesday, April 3, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo uploaded the first episode of her ‘Judy Ann’s Kitchen’ vlog on YouTube in over two years.

To mark the occasion, Judy Ann said that together with her team, they conceptualized and organized the set-up of her kitchen in their family’s Batangas house for over six months.

Alongside that, they also prepared a cinematic trailer, which was incorporated in the new opening billboard of ‘Judy Ann’s Kitchen.’

For the first dishes of the comeback season, Juday prepared Uni Pasta and Uni Toast.

Uni means sea urchin in Japanese.

The “Soap Opera Queen” also shared a glimpse of her personal life, telling viewers that her “unico hijo” Lucho has been into diving and was even filmed collecting sea urchins.

Meanwhile, her third child Luna is now helping her cook during some segments of the vlog.

Her husband Ryan Agoncillo, who stood behind the camera for most of the video, appeared on camera briefly as the taste-testing began.

Yohan, the eldest daughter, also made a special shout out message for the subscribers at the end of the vlog.

‘Judy Ann’s Kitchen’ began back in 2017 and is now on its 27th season.

In 2022, after the end of the 26th season, Judy Ann announced that she is placing the vlog on an indefinite hiatus.

During an interview on ‘Magandang Buhay,’ Juday shared that she had to stop filming the vlog because she does not want to alienate viewers amid rising cost of commodities during that time.

“Hindi naman sobrang busy, [pero] ang hirap kasing mag-isip ng mga episodes especially kung yung pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin ay napakalala.”

“Ayokong hindi maka-relate yung viewers sa anumang lutuin yung gagawin ko kasi napaka-unfair naman.”

“Tuma-timing lang naman din ako. Ayaw ko lang na masabihang “luto ka nang luto, hindi naman namin magagawa ‘yan.””

Aside from ‘Judy Ann’s Kitchen,’ the actress is set to return to the small screen through the new season of ‘The Bagman’ with fellow award-winning actors John Arcilla and Arjo Atayde.
