On May 11, 2024, a free ‘K-wave Music Festival’ is set to be staged at the Burnham Green area of Luneta, Manila.

Part of the initial list performers for the upcoming event are Korean pop groups THE BOYZ and fromis_9, who will join Filipino pop acts PLUUS and YGIG.

Access to the event will be free, although a pre-registration process will be enacted by the organizers.

According to them, the form will be opened on Monday, April 1 at 12:00 nn, and will be on a “first come, first serve” basis.

It added, registrants can also bring along one companion with them, especially those below the age of 14 who are required to be with their legal guardian.

Ages 15-17, meanwhile, can come with a signed waiver form.

Identification cards on the day of the event are also being required from those who will be attending the free concert.

Originally slated to take place at the New Clark City, ‘K-wave’ will be held in the capital after feedback from fans.

It will also be in conjunction with the closing ceremony of the Badminton Asia 2024 tournament.

The concert also marks the return of the THE BOYZ to Manila after their successful ‘ZENERATION’ concert at the Araneta Coliseum last July 2023.

As for the girl group fromis_9, it will be their first time to participate in a joint concert in the Philippines.
