Sarah Lahbati now ‘single’; confirms split with Richard Gutierrez

The actress has finally spoken up about the real score of their relationship.

The actress has spoken up about the matter.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, actress Sarah Lahbati finally confirmed that she has broken up with husband Richard Gutierrez, months after speculations first arose.

Lahbati was asked about her current status, which she bluntly replied with: “Yeah [I’m single]… There’s nothing to hide and I think it’s pretty clear to the public. Yeah, both of us [are now single]), I think.”

Her latest statement follows her disclosure in a past interview with showbiz MJ Marfori.

There, she already shared that she and Richard are now in a “co-parenting set-up.” However, at that time, did not directly say anything regarding their marriage.

Additionally, Sarah also said that she is currently not on speaking terms with her estranged husband.

Rumors about Sarah and Richard’s break-up first broke out late last year.

Richard’s mother Annabelle Rama then made some comments regarding the issue in December.

Rama did not talk about the status of the two, although she shared that her son and his kids had been living with them “for a month” then, but would eventually move out anew before Christmas.

Both Richard and Sarah have remained mum on the speculations, but were also not seen together in photos with their children ever since the news broke out.

The couple first met on the set of GMA’s series ‘Makapiling Kang Muli’ and became a thing in 2012.

It was only in March 2020, and after two kids, when they finally tied the knot through a private ceremony in Taguig City.

Sarah and Richard have two kids: Zion and Kai, who were born in 2013 and 2018, respectively.

The couple was last seen in a project together in October last year, when Sarah made a cameo appearance in the finale of Richard’s top-rated primetime action drama series ‘The Iron Heart.’
