She is set to meet her Filipino fans this evening.

Im Yoona, a member of Korean pop girl group Girls’ Generation, is in the Philippines for her first ever solo fan meeting in the country.

Titled ‘Yoonite,’ the event will take place later today at the SMX Convention Center at Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Prior to today, Yoona’s last visit to the country was in 2015, when she, along with the rest of Girls’ Generation, performed for a joint concert in Bulacan.

Speaking of which, Yoona is the fourth member of the group to make a stop in Manila in recent months, following Taeyeon, Yuri, and Hyoyeon, who all held their respective engagements in the country last year.

Yoona is one of the eight members of Girls’ Generation, which was launched in 2007 with their popular debut track ‘Into The New World’.

They then went on to release a bunch of hit tracks, including ‘Gee,’ ‘Genie,’ ‘Oh!,’ ‘The Boys,’ ‘I Gotta Boy,’ ‘Mr. Mr.,’ ‘Party,’ ‘Lion Heart,’ and ‘Holiday,’ among others.

In 2022, they made their comeback in time for the group’s 15th anniversary with a full album titled ‘FOREVER 1,’ which included the title track of the same name.

Aside from music, Yoona also pursued acting. She debuted as an actress in 2008 with ‘You Are My Destiny’.

Since then, she had been part of numerous series like ‘Love Rain,’ ‘Prime Minister and I,’ ‘The K2,’ ‘The King is In Love,’ and ‘Big Mouth’.

Most recently, just this year, she starred in the hit romantic drama series ‘King The Land’ with 2PM member Lee Junho.
