The couple shared the special news on Tuesday.
In a joint post on Instagram, real-life celebrity couple Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde delivered the news of their engagement to the public.
Ria shared the caption “Forever sounds good,” while Marudo responded in the comments “and tastes even better.”
These accompanied some of their photos together from their trips abroad, as well as Ria’s hand while wearing the engagement ring.
Within four hours of its upload, the post has garnered more than 100 thousand likes.
Congratulatory messages and best wishes to the couple also poured in in the comments section, most of them coming from fellow artists like Angelica Panganiban, Jolina Magdangal, Maja Salvador, and Bianca Gonzales, among many others.
Marudo and Atayde first met as co-stars in the teleserye ‘My Dear Heart,’ but only began dating in late 2022, as confirmed by the latter’s mother, Sylvia Sanchez.
Months later, in January 2023, Zanjoe publicly confirmed their relationship in an interview with Karen Davila.
