He has added another feather in his cap.
On Thursday, February 15, ASTRO member Cha Eunwoo released his first solo mini album.
Titled ‘ENTITY,’ the mini album carries the lead single ‘STAY,’ which had its music video concurrently released with the album.
In ‘STAY,’ Eunwoo dabbles with the country pop genre. The music video was shot on location in the United States, and features actress India Eisley.
Aside from the carrier single, ‘ENTITY’ has five other songs. These are ‘Alone With You,’ ‘Fuc*ing Great Time,’ ‘Where Am I,’ ‘You’re The Best,’ and ‘Memories’ — which will be exclusively available in the physical CD version of the album.
According to his management at Fantagio, Eunwoo’s first solo mini album reflects the “diverse emotions felt by artist Cha Eunwoo” and acknowledge his more personal side as “Lee Dong Min,” which is his real name.
A testament to that is the fact that Eunwoo is credited as lyricist in all six songs in ‘ENTITY.’
Eunwoo has been active in the industry for a decade now, having debuted as an actor in the 2014 movie ‘My Brilliant Life.’
In 2015, he was officially introduced as one of the six original members of ASTRO, which debuted on February 23, 2016.
Cha went on to becoming an idol-actor, juggling both his acting and idol careers.
Aside from promoting with ASTRO since debut, he also starred in multiple dramas like ‘The Best Hit,’ ‘My ID Is Gangnam Beauty,’ ‘Rookie Historian,’ ‘True Beauty,’ ‘Island,’ and most recently, in ‘A Good Day To Be A Dog.’
In 2022, Eunwoo also joined the cast for the movie ‘Decibel’ for a pivotal role in the story.
This March, he will return to TV via the revenge drama series ‘Wonderful World’ as the lead character Kwon Seon Yul.
Starting this month, he will also be embarking on a solo fan-concert tour titled ‘Just One Ten Minute: Mystery Elevator,’ which will kick-off in Seoul on Saturday.
The said concert tour is expected to take place in Manila at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 16, 2024.
