The couple called it quits a few years back.
In a report published by ABS-CBN News, they spoke to a certain Ricco Ocampo, godfather of Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales and model Kim Jones.
According to him, the couple broke up back in 2019, although they have maintained their friendship ever since.
Ocampo adds that the break-up was not caused by any third party or ill feelings, but it was only because they have come to the decision that “it is time to lead separate lives.“
He reveals that, despite the split, the ex-partners are also collaborating on a film set to be released this year, where Kim will act, write, and direct. Jericho will then take the producing job in the project.
The announcement of the couple’s separation comes after months of speculations regarding the status of their relationship.
Online, ‘Marites’ (or gossipers) had pondered on this after not seeing both of them post photos of one another, despite being active on social media.
Jericho and Kim became a couple months after meeting each other in October 2011. They publicized their status in 2012, before getting engaged in 2013.
In May 2014, Rosales and Jones tied the knot in Boracay, Aklan.
