It will be a ‘Kim’ versus ‘Xi’ situation come January 22.
In the latest teaser released by ABS-CBN for the upcoming teleserye version of hit Prime Video series ‘Linlang,’ the Kapamilya network has finally announced the time slot for the show.
Led by Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, and JM de Guzman, ‘Linlang’ will be launching on January 22 on Primetime Bida’s second drama slot or right after ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ at 8:45 pm.
With this development, current second slot drama ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano will be transferred to the third slot, which is at 9:30 pm.
‘CBML’ will replace ‘Senior High,‘ which will conclude its five-month-run on January 19.
Aside from that, the placement of ‘Linlang’ on the said slot will also mean that its lead star Kim Chiu will be facing head on the upcoming Kapuso series of her former boyfriend Xian Lim with Jennelyn Mercado titled ‘Love. Die. Repeat.’
‘LDR’ will be launching a week earlier, on Monday, January 15, at 8:50 pm on GMA Prime.
Back to ‘Linlang,’ the mini-series cut of the drama immediately became a consistent top-rater in the Prime Video platform when it began streaming last October.
This, as it achieved the distinction of being the most-viewed program in the Philippines, as well as in multiple countries and territories abroad.
Here is how ABS-CBN’s weekday primetime block on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and TV5 will look like starting January 22.
- 8:00 pm – FPJ’s Batang Quiapo
- 8:45 pm – Linlang (new show)
- 9:30 pm – Can’t Buy Me Love (new time slot)
The three dramas will also air on A2Z every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening.
