SB19, ShowBT amicably settle issue

A’TINs rejoice!

On Tuesday, December 5, 1Z Entertainment issued a statement to give update on the naming issue of P-pop group SB19.

According to them, 1Z Entertainment “have come to an amicable agreement with ShowBT Philippines Corp. through a fair and amicable resolution.”

The company then expressed their gratitude to A’TINs “for their patience and unwavering support towards SB19 and 1Z Entertainment.”

They also shared that members “Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin eagerly anticipate reconnecting with all of you [fans] in their upcoming endeavors.”

In late October, speculations floated regarding the group’s identity. This, as the group members removed the name ‘SB19’ from their handle and bios on social media platform Instagram.

They then performed onstage as five members again in early November. However, instead of introducing themselves as SB19, the members opted to simply go by their individual stage names.

Fans, as a response, called them as ‘MAHALIMA’ while the parties were engaging themselves in talks over the matter, which has led to today’s development.

It was in June this year when SB19 members confirmed that they have left ShowBT Entertainment after being with the company for five years.
