Attention, Filipino Dungjangs and Nomnoms! Your favorite actors are coming to Manila.
On Thursday, October 19, it was officially announced that Thai media giant GMMTV will be sending four of its stars to the Philippines. They are Joong Archen Aydin, Dunk Natachai, Jimmy Jitaraphol, and Sea Tawinan.
Also known by their respective pairings of JoongDunk and JimmySea, they will visit Manila for the first time this November 18 for a joint fan day titled ‘GMMTV FANDAY8,’ which is also GMMTV’s first fan day in the country. It will take place at The Podium Hall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
The said event will feature separate fan meetings for each pair, as well as a joint fan sign event.
Joong and Dunk will have theirs first at 2:00 pm. They will then join both Jimmy and Sea for the fan sign, which will happen at 5:00 pm. Then at 7:00 pm, the day will continue with Jimmy and Sea’s fanmeet.
Tickets for each event are separate. Although the prices for both fanmeets are the same, with a patron seat costing Php 4,500, VIP ticket is at Php 8,500, and the ‘MVP’ pass will set you back Php 14,500.
A ‘gold pass,’ which will give fans access to both JoongDunk and JimmySea’s fan meetings, as well as the fan sign event featuring the four stars.
The ticket selling will begin next Saturday, October 28. Gold pass will go on sale first at 11:00 am, followed by the general sale for JoongDunk at 12:00 nn, then JimmySea at 2:00 pm.
The JoongDunk was first formed in 2021, along with the announcement of their first project: ‘Star and Sky: Star In My Mind,’ which aired in 2022. Since then, they have also led other series like a crossover in ‘Our Skyy 2,’ and ‘Hidden Agenda’.
As for JimmySea, their pairing was created through the 2022 drama series ‘Vice Versa’. They later starred in its related sequel part of the ‘Our Skyy 2’ anthology, and in the romantic drama ‘Last Twilight’.
