‘Egay’ intensifies to a Typhoon
In the latest bulletin of state weather bureau PAGASA on July 23, 2023 at 11:00 pm, it reported that the tropical cyclone ‘Egay’ has intensified to a Typhoon as it hovers on the sea east of Bicol Region. The storm’s eye was last located at 490 kilometers East Northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte.
Meanwhile, it moves in the West Northwestward direction at the speed of 10 kilometers per hour. It packs winds of up to 120 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 150 kilometers per hour.
