She is also the highest finisher for any candidate from the Philippines at the pageant in a decade.
(JULY 15, 2023) Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 Pauline Amelinckx finished 1st runner-up in the recently concluded Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland.
Amelinckx, who was awarded the title just last May, competed against 64 other candiates from other countries.
In the end, she and Miss Ecuador — Andrea Aguilera were left on the stage.
Ultimately, Aguilera took home the crown.
Nevertheless, Amelinckx delivered the strongest performance of the country in the said pageant in 10 years.
It was in the year 2013 when Mutya Datul won the Miss Supranational crown and since then, Filipina candidates have consistently entered the Top 24 or 25 in the competition.
