The ‘King of the Gil’ is back on the big screen.
In a conference, Enrique Gil’s kickstarter for his showbiz comeback has been announced.
It will be a comedy movie titled ‘I Am Not Big Bird,’ which will hit local theaters this year.
According to Gil, the story will be about a tourist named Luis Carpio, who will be mistaken for his look-alike pornstar in Thailand, who is named ‘Big Bird’.
Co-starring alongside Enrique are Pepe Herrera, Nikko Natividad, and Red Ollero.
It will be directed by Victor Villanueva and written by Lilit Reyes.
The new movie will also be under ABS-CBN Films’ Black Sheep unit and ANIMA Studios.
