(JUNE 8, 2023) – According to the 11:00 PM bulletin from PAGASA, Typhoon Chedeng, with the international name of ‘Guchol,’ was spotted 905 km East of Central Luzon.
‘Chedeng’ moves West Northwestward at the speed of 10 kilometers per hour. Meanwhile, its maximum sustained winds reach 130 kph, while its gustiness reaches up to 160 kph.
Due to its distance from the Philippine landmass, no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals have been raised in areas in the country.
But PAGASA warns that the Cyclone might enhance the Southwest Monsoon and bring rainshowers in several areas in Visayas and Luzon over the next three days.
