Long queues and wait times are of high possibility.
On June 3, 2023, not just one, not just two, but four upcoming events in the Philippines will simultaneously begin selling tickets on that day.
Passes for the respective concerts of K-pop acts NCT DoJaeJung; ‘The Stage by K-pop’ event with MAMAMOO+, Kep1er, and LAPILLUS; and TOMORROW X TOGETHER; as well as British rock band You Me At Six, will all be up for grabs on that day.
However, due to the anticipated situation in both online and offline ticketing counters, fans cannot help but worry about the long queues, among other problems that may arise due to the simultaneous selling.
Heeding the call, instead of the usual 12 noon start, organizers of NCT DoJaeJung’s ‘Scented Symphony: Perfume Fan-con in Manila’ had already decided to open earlier on that day at 11:00 am.
UPDATE: The ticket selling for NCT DoJaeJung’s event has been moved to June 4 at 12 noon.
Despite that adjustment, their social media pages are still filled with fans trying to negotiate to move the selling date a day later to June 4. Fans argue that the earlier start time would do little to the anticipated crowd in offline counters, especially in malls, on that day. Online, the situation may not be that far different, as they warn that crashes may occur due to the expected volume of users trying to access the ticketing websites.
As for the other events, there are still no change in the initial plans as of the moment, and they are expected to proceed with the promoted start time of 12 noon on June 3.
