LRT-2 ops affected by fire near Recto station on Sunday

Trains temporarily terminated at V. Mapa station on the west side.

(MAY 14, 2023) – Earlier today, a fire broke out in the settlement beside the Recto station in the LRT-2 line. The said fire damaged the connecting bridge between Recto and LRT-1 Doroteo Jose stations.

As a result, LRT-2 implemented a provisionary service from Antipolo to V. Mapa stations at around 5:00 am.

Normal train services from Antipolo to Recto and vice versa resumed by 1:00 pm.
