iWant… GMA?
Rumor has it that some programs from the Kapuso network will soon be made available on ABS-CBN’s streaming platform. One of which had been unveiled recently. It is none other than the upcoming drama ‘Unbreak My Heart’, starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, Joshua Garcia, and Gabbi Garcia.
‘Unbreak My Heart’ is the historic collaboration series between GMA, ABS-CBN Entertainment and its unit Dreamscape Entertainment, and another streaming service Viu. Apart from the TV release on GMA, the show will also be Viu and as stated, iWantTFC.
Beyond ABS-CBN content
Since its launch in 2020, iWantTFC is also no stranger to streaming non-ABS-CBN produced shows. Some examples include Brightlight Productions’ 2020 drama series ‘I Got You’ starring Beauty Gonzalez, RK Bagatsing, and Jane Oineza; and ‘Oh My Dad!’ with Ian Veneracion, Dimples Romana, Gloria Diaz, Ariel Ureta, and Sue Ramirez, among others.
Fashion TV, among other channels, were part of iWant’s live stream offerings, before they were pulled out recently due to unknown factors.
TV5’s primetime singing competition program ‘Sing Galing’ and Cignal’s UAAP Varsity Channel are also available for international subscribers of iWantTFC.
The GMA and ABS-CBN team-up
The dream team that is formed by the partnership between the two Philippine media giants GMA and ABS-CBN was first seen in the airing of Star Cinema movies on GMA platforms in April 2022.
That would later blossom into a full-bloom collaboration, with ‘Unbreak My Heart’ being the first production to materialize.
