Channel 2 is back on air.
(JUNE 24, 2022) Villar-owned AMBS has begun its trial broadcasts on channel 2, the frequency formerly operated by ABS-CBN Corporation, today. As of the moment, only a static card with the words ‘TEST BROADCAST’ is shown on the channel.
This development comes five months after the National Telecommunications Commission first awarded both channels 2 and 16 on DTT to the firm. It remains to be seen when the channel will begin its official broadcast.
