The changes and the additions on TV5 and Cignal beginning March 21

The schedules of the Reliance-Novaliches channels are getting some makeover come Monday, March 21, 2022.

First up, let’s head over to the flagship free TV network of the group — TV5. For channel 5, its late morning newscast Frontline sa Umaga, anchored by Gretchen Ho, is getting an extended airtime and will now run from 10:50 to 11:45 am. Right after FSU, Lunch Out Loud will immediately air.

In the afternoons, a new telenovela in La Suerte de Loli will be slotted in at 2:35 pm, right after the rerun of MariMar at 1:50 pm. Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, Remember: War of Son will be pushed to 3:00 pm, as Cine Cinco still begins at its usual time of 3:30 pm. The live airing of the first PBA game every Wednesday and Friday will remain at 3:00 pm.

Over at its sister news and public affairs channel One PH, there are also aplenty of shifts that will happen to its lineup.

On Monday, the tandem of real-life couple Julius Babao and Tintin Bersola-Babao will be revived on screen after 12 years. The Babaos take the airwaves at 4:00 to 5:00 pm via Para sa Pamilyang Pilipino, a program that will tackle familial issues and topics.

Meanwhile, former occupant of the 4:00 pm slot, Cristy FerMinute, will now move onto a new time slot. After more than 11 years, the show will be transformed as an early afternoon showbiz-oriented talk show as it begins broadcasting at 1:00 pm, still anchored by Cristy Fermin and Romel Chika

Due to these, sex and relationships talk show Feelings will temporarily go off the air for two weeks and will return with a brand new time and day on Saturday, April 2, from 9 to 11 in the evening.

Finally, it’s time for BuKo. The 24/7 comedy channel will welcome to its array of programs a news satire show spearheaded by John Lapus, who is at helm as director of the show, and hosted by the trio of Wally Bayola, Alex Calleja, and Jervi Li (popularly known as KaladKaren Davila). Titled Balita One-Nan, the program aims to poke fun at the trending news items of today.

These changes will take into effect today, March 21, 2022, on TV5, One PH, and BuKo.
