The Philippines has reported today that the country’s economy has shrunk yet again for the 5th straight quarter as a 4.2% contraction was recorded in the first quarter of 2021.

Sandara Park parts ways with YG Entertainment (posted May 14, 2021)
Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park has officially left the group’s parent label YG Entertainment.
In a statement released by the agency, they have confirmed Park’s departure from their roster of artists. She also becomes the last 2NE1 member to leave YG.
Prior to her stint with 2NE1, Sandara Park – also known as Sandy – was discovered by ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Quest in 2004. She later left the Philippines to train in Korea for 2 years and eventually debuting as part of 2NE1.
GMA Heart of Asia to air a Singaporean series locally via GTV (posted May 14, 2021)
GTV will become the second Filipino TV channel to air Singaporean content in the Philippines after TV5’s pioneering move 12 years ago.
As of the moment, the network is yet to reveal the title of the acquired series.
