A powerful quake surprised residents of Metro Manila, parts of CALABARZON and Central Luzon on Christmas Day morning.
As of the moment, the Philippine Institute on Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) is yet to issue a complete report on this earthquake.
This only comes a few days after the Magnitude 4.9 quake with an epicenter at General Nakar, Quezon Province.

JUST IN: According to the initial report of PHIVOLCS, a Magnitude 6.3 earthquake was recordedat 7:43 a. m., with an epicenter near Calatagan, Batangas.
Aftershocks are also possible according to the bureau.
