Pinoy BL is undeniably one of the best things to ever come out this 2020.
These past few months, a huge wave of local boys love (BL) series are making noise in the cyberspace. A frenzy that is arguably stemmed from the immense popularity of ‘2gether: The Series’, a Thai BL drama starring Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin. However, some may even point out that local stories have already been there for a long time and are only waiting to be told.
So it happened. As the thirst of Filipinos for this genre are only beginning to be quenched by foreign serials, an onslaught of local production began to flock the space. Studios like Black Sheep, The IdeaFirst Company, and Regal each released their own BL drama online and mostly via YouTube. Streaming service iWantTFC is also set to debut its own boys love series by November.
In this special feature, we’ll be listing down the best Pinoy BL series of today. But the plots of these stories and the reason why they’re included in this list won’t be provided.
