Sama-sama nang magiging Saksi ang mga Kapuso sa channel 7 at News TV.
Last week, news broke out that GMA Network would be retrenching staff from affected GNTV newscasts and programs like State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, Tonight with Arnold Clavio, among others. The said move by the management was due to their decision to ‘terminate’ programs that were put off air since March due to the enforced quarantine protocols in the country. The network is still yet to give an official statement regarding the matter.
Instead of a response, GMA spilled a bean that came out as a surprise for its loyal viewers. Starting Monday, a restructured GMA News TV primetime block will begin airing. Among the new additions to the channel are a Heart of Asia K-drama slot at 8:30pm – with the first offering being My Absolute Boyfriend – and the flagship Kapuso late night newscast Saksi.
While the official schedule isn’t out yet, the New Normal: The Survival Guide belt (which is home to Bright Side, Home Work, among others) could be moved to 9:15. This will be followed by Power Block – the new belt of award-winning Kapuso public affairs shows Front Row, Alisto, Tunay na Buhay, and Reporter’s Notebook – would be bumped to 10:00 p.m. Finally, the GMA Regional TV strip would be placed at 10:45pm, before Saksi airs on both GMA and GMA News TV (or even on DZBB Superadyo).
Saksi airs Monday to Friday at 11:30pm on GMA and GMA News TV.
