Metro Manila is now officially under “community quarantine” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Malls in Metro Manila announce closure and other operational changes amidst ECQ
Here are the announcements from mall operators in Metro Manila.
- All Ayala Malls in Metro Manila will be temporarily closed starting March 16. However, establishments offering basic goods and services shall remain operational during this period.
- All Robinsons Malls in Metro Manila will be closed starting tomorrow, except for stores providing basic goods and services.
- All SM Malls in Metro Manila will be closed starting tomorrow, except for stores providing basic goods and services. Those establishments that are allowed to operate during this period shall operate from 11am to 7pm only.
ABS-CBN, GMA suspend production of entertainment shows
Both ABS-CBN and GMA Network has ramped up their measures against the spread of COVID-19 in the country. The two largest TV stations will be halting the production of all entertainment programs (dramas and variety shows) for the moment.
Everybody, Sing! postpones premiere broadcast
ABS-CBN’s new singing gameshow ‘Everybody, Sing!’ will be postponing the premiere broadcast that was set for Sunday, March 15. In lieu, old episodes of ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ will be aired every Sunday at 9:30PM for the time being.
