Another network has sent feelers for TVJ.
(JUNE 3, 2023) – In a report by newspaper Abante, a staff member of IBC-13 sent feelers to TVJ and their team. According to the unnamed staff, they are opening their doors to the group and will even give them their preferred time slot, should they choose to join the network. Apart from that, they also said that IBC General Manager Hexilon Alvarez is open to communicate with TVJ for the network’s offer.
TVJ were previously part of the IBC family, especially in the ’70s and ’80s, as their program ‘Iskul Bukol’ aired for a decade on channel 13. Vic Sotto’s ‘Okay Ka, Fairy Ko,’ first aired on the channel, before it was transferred to ABS-CBN in 1989.
